The three set by Wix

This site is hosted by Wix, and Wix sets its own cookies from its servers before a single line of our code runs. That means the banner on this site cannot switch them off, and nor can we. Two of them keep your session working and secure. The third, bSession, is how Wix measures its own hosting, and Wix rather than us is the one it reports to. If you would rather not have them, block cookies for this site in your browser and the pages still work.

The two we set

gb-consent and gb-seen are stored by your own browser rather than sent to us. Neither can identify you, and neither is used to track you. They are exempt from the consent rules because the site cannot remember your cookie choice or skip a repeated animation without them.

The Google map

The foot of the homepage and the contact page show where we are on a Google map. Loading that map lets Google set cookies on your browser, so we leave it switched off and show a still frame instead. Accept cookies, or press the button on the map itself, and it loads. Reject, and it never does.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful, so we know what to improve. It only runs if you accept cookies: until then the Google script is not even downloaded. If you accept, it sets the two _ga cookies in the list above. We look at the numbers in totals, not at individuals, and they are not used for advertising.

Change your mind and press Reject, and Analytics switches off and its cookies are cleared. We do not run advertising pixels, heatmaps or session recording.

Changing your mind

Press the button below, or the cookie link at the bottom of any page, and the banner comes back. Your choice is stored for six months, then you are asked again.

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. That is the only way to stop the three Wix ones. Blocking ours means the site still works, but it shows the opening animation every time and asks about cookies on every page.

Client sites

Sites we build for clients run on Wix or Fresha and set their own cookies, including any booking system. Those are covered by that site's own cookie notice, which we set up as part of the build.
