Google Business Profile
Your Google profile, done properly.
The same Google profile set-up as every package, with the towns from your landing pages added as service areas so the profile and the site agree on where you work.
- 01
Categories
One primary category that matches what people search for, then the extras that are genuinely true. Get this one wrong and nothing else on the profile helps.
- 02
Every service, priced
Each service listed on its own with a price and a short description written for the search, the same wording and price as its page on the site.
- 03
Areas, hours and contact
The towns you cover, your real opening hours and one phone number, identical to the site, so Google never sees two versions of the business.
- 04
Description and photos
A description that says what you do, where, and for whom, plus your logo, a cover image and real photos of real work.
- 05
Book and website buttons
The website button points at the site and the booking button points straight at your Fresha or Wix Bookings page, so a search can turn into a booking without a phone call.
- 06
Your review link
Your short Google review link, ready to text to clients, and on your business cards if you have them. Reviews are the single thing you can do that helps most.

Town landing pages
A page for every town you cover.
Someone in Huntingdon searching for your service wants to know you work in Huntingdon. A list of towns at the bottom of the home page does not tell them; a page written for Huntingdon does. These are ours, built the same way.
- Web design St NeotsTen minutes from Yelling. Our nearest town.
- Web design HuntingdonTrades, clinics and salons along the A14 corridor.
- Web design CambridgeA crowded market, so the site has to be sharper, not louder.
- Web design BedfordHalf an hour along the A428. Same service, same prices.
- Web design PeterboroughUp the A1. Plenty of service businesses, very few good sites.
The blog
A blog that is already working.
Business sets the blog up and writes the first three posts, each one aimed at a search people in your trade really make. These are ours, written the same way.
- 01
Written for one search
Every post answers a question people really type, like "how much does a cleaner cost in Thetford", and the title says so.
- 02
The answer first
The first paragraph answers the question. Google and the AI assistants quote the answer, not the warm-up.
- 03
Linked to your services
Every post links to the service pages it relates to, so the post sends readers, and Google, to the page that books.
- 04
Questions marked up
Each post ends with the follow-up questions people ask, marked up so Google can show them in the results.
From a paper appointment book to online booking, without losing a single client
A step by step switch from the hardback diary to online booking, in the order I would do it, with the two mistakes that cause double bookings in the first month.

If the app already takes your bookings, do you still need a site? An honest answer from someone who builds them, including the times you should save your money.

ReadWhat to expect
After launch, in order.
Nobody can promise a ranking, and we do not. This is what normally happens, and what we check at each stage.
- Week 1 to 2
Live, indexed, listed
The site goes live, the sitemap is submitted and the Google profile matches it. Search Console shows the pages being picked up.
- Months 1 to 3
Showing in more towns
Each town page starts showing for its own searches and each service for its own name. The first bookings come from people who typed your service and their town.
- Month 3 on
Compounding
Reviews, posts and pages add to each other. Add a care plan and the blog keeps growing every month; leave it and the site keeps working on its own.
Want the search work done for you every month? Grow is £199 a month and Run is £299, no contract. Details on the pricing page.
Business questions
Asked before, answered here.
What is a town landing page?
A page written for one town you cover, like our own St Neots page. It tells someone searching from that town that you work there, how far you travel and what nearby clients say, which a single "areas we cover" list never does.
Who writes the blog after the first three?
You can, from the Wix app on your phone, and we show you how. Or a Grow plan writes five a month for £199, and Run writes ten or more for £299.
I already have a logo. Is it cheaper?
Yes. If you are happy with your logo, the price drops by the £75 refresh.
