Legal
Terms
Short, and the same for everyone. These apply to every build unless we have signed something different with you. Last updated 6 October 2026.
1. Who you are contracting with
Curtis Wright trading as Get You Booked, 10 High Street, Yelling, Cambridgeshire PE19 6SD. Phone 07940 022854, email hello@getyoubooked.co.uk. We are a sole trader, so there is no company number to quote. No VAT is charged, so the price you see is the price you pay.
2. How a job starts
We agree the package and the price on a call, then confirm it in writing by email or WhatsApp. That confirmation and these terms are the contract. Nothing starts until the deposit clears.
3. Prices and payment
- Packages are the prices shown on the pricing page on the day we confirm the job, starting at £395.
- Half is payable up front, the balance on the day the site goes live.
- Invoices are due within 7 days. Late payment carries interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- Care plans are billed monthly in advance and start the month after launch.
- Third party costs are yours and are charged at cost: the domain, the Wix plan, a Fresha subscription, stock imagery or a font licence where one is needed. We tell you the figure before anything is bought.
4. What we need from you
Copy, photos, prices, opening hours and access to the domain and any existing accounts. The build clock starts when we have them. If material has not arrived within 60 days of the deposit, the job is paused and we invoice the work done to that point.
You confirm you own or are licensed to use everything you send us, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Rounds of changes
Every package includes two rounds of changes on the design and the copy. Further rounds, or a change of direction after a design is signed off, are charged at £45 an hour, quoted before we start. Adding pages beyond the package is £100 for a batch of five.
6. Timings
Each package has a launch window on the pricing page and most jobs go live inside it. That window depends on your material arriving and on approvals coming back. Where a delay is ours we tell you the same day and we do not charge for it.
7. Who owns what
- Once the final invoice is paid, the site, its design, its copy and its images are yours.
- Until then, everything we have made stays ours.
- We keep the right to reuse the underlying code, components and techniques on other jobs. Your content and your brand are never reused.
- On a handover build the Wix site and its plan are transferred into your account and we stay on as a co-owner only if you want us to.
- We may show the finished site and its results in our portfolio. Tell us if you would rather we did not.
8. Care plans
Care plans cover hosting oversight, small edits, updates and monitoring, as listed on the pricing page. They run month to month. Cancel with 30 days' notice by phone, WhatsApp or email, and we hand over the site and its logins within 30 days of the last paid month. There is no exit fee and no minimum term.
9. What we are responsible for
We build the site properly, connect the booking system and hand over something that works. We cannot promise a particular Google position, a number of bookings or a level of sales, because those depend on your market, your prices and your reviews as well as the site.
We are not liable for the platforms underneath: Wix, Fresha and Google outages, price changes or policy changes are outside our control. Where a client site is hosted on Wix, Wix's own terms apply to that hosting.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our total liability for a job is capped at the fees you have paid us for it. We are not liable for lost profit, lost bookings or lost data.
10. Cancelling
You can cancel a build at any time in writing. The deposit covers the work already done and is not refundable, and anything completed beyond it is invoiced at £45 an hour. If we cancel, you pay only for work delivered and we refund the rest within 14 days.
Where you are a consumer rather than a business you have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you have asked us to start inside that period, you pay for the work done up to the point you cancel.
11. Acceptable content
We do not build sites for adult content, gambling, weapons, or anything unlawful or designed to mislead. If a job turns out to be one of those we stop and refund the unworked balance.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
