What you get
We are website designers for small business: salons, clinics, therapists and trades. A site that looks nice and does nothing is the most common thing we are asked to replace. This page is what you actually get: the build, in order, and what it should bring you once it is live.
In 44 seconds
The build in order, the booking system, the speed, what it brings in and what it costs. Press sound on for the music.
What to expect
A new site does not flood you with calls on day one, but it does not take a year either. Google learns the pages inside weeks, the reviews stack up and the listing starts showing for the searches people actually make. This is the shape of it, with two real clients' numbers, and what we aim for at each stage.
Bookings a week from the site
The site goes live inside two weeks, the sitemap is submitted and your Google listing matches it exactly. The first calls usually come from the listing before the site ranks for anything.
Google learns the pages and each service starts showing for its own searches. The first bookings arrive from people typing your service and your town. HairBiba took ten perm bookings in a single month.
Reviews stack up, the "near me" searches land on you and the diary fills from the site rather than your phone. Nida Thai Massage went from no online booking at all to ten plus a week.
Every page, post and review adds to the last one. Most clients have paid for the site by here, and it keeps going whether or not we are still involved, because nothing we build depends on us to stay up.
Nobody can promise a ranking, and we do not. Those are two clients' real numbers, not an average, and yours will depend on your trade and your town. What we promise is the work, done properly, a before-and-after snapshot, and the search numbers in plain English so you can see it building.
A website that pays for itself
A month of bookings from the site is usually more than the site cost. HairBiba took ten perm bookings in one month, over £1,000, against a £395 build. Here is the same sum for a salon, a clinic and a trade against the three packages.
A salon · Starter, £395
£1,000a month from the site. Ten perm bookings a month at £100, what HairBiba saw in one month.
2 weeksand the site has paid for itself. Everything after is profit, and the same clients keep coming back.
A clinic · Business, £995
£1,000a month from the site. Four treatments a month at £250, one a week.
5 weeksand the site has paid for itself. Everything after is profit, and the same clients keep coming back.
A trade · Full Launch, £1,495
£2,400a month from the site. Two small jobs a month at £1,200.
3 weeksand the site has paid for itself. Everything after is profit, and the same clients keep coming back.
Your numbers will be your own, and a new client is rarely one booking. A perm comes back every two months, a Profhilo course is two sessions and a review, a good trade gets the next job and the neighbour's.
The build, day by day
Fifteen minutes on the phone. We ask what you do, who books you, where they come from and what annoys you about the current site (if there is one). You get a list of what we need from you: photos, prices, a logo if you have one, and a login to your Google listing.
We pull the actual searches people make in your area for your kind of business, look at who is ranking for them, and read every review your competitors have. That decides the pages, the headings and the words.
Every page is written first, then designed around the words. You see a working version on your phone, not a mock-up in a PDF, and you tell us what is wrong with it.
Wix Bookings or Fresha set up with your services, durations, prices, deposits and reminders, linked to your calendar. Google Business Profile created or fixed to match the site exactly.
Domain connected, sitemap submitted, structured data checked, a before-and-after snapshot taken. You get a short video showing you how to change prices and post to the blog, and a written note of everything that was set up.
Booking systems
We set up one of two, and this is what a month looks like once it is running: bookings landing in the diary with the money attached, taken while you were with a client. We do not build booking systems from scratch, because the two below are better than anything a small business should pay to have written, and your clients already trust them. The full comparison is in the best booking system for a small UK business.

The same site on a laptop and on a phone, the one you saw booking at the top of the page. Built for the phone first, because that is where most of your visitors are, and the desktop gets the same care second.
